The Sai Pooja Education Society observed World No Tobacco Day on May 31, 2025, with a strong focus on raising awareness about the devastating health risks associated with tobacco use.
Students from Reva B.Ed. and Sai D.El.Ed. College participated in an oath-taking ceremony to pledge against tobacco consumption and its promotion, committing to a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
The college organized a special awareness campaign, including poster exhibitions and short lectures, where faculty discussed the social and health impact of tobacco, particularly in younger populations.
Future teachers were encouraged to develop strategies for educating their future students on the dangers of addiction, making them ambassadors for public health in their respective communities.
The day emphasized the Society’s dedication to the moral and social development of students by encouraging them to lead healthy lives and actively contribute to a healthier society.
